Short answer

Restoman's digital menu is the one guests open on their phone, from the table's QR code or the location's link, with nothing to install. It shows your categories and products with photos, prices, options and dietary marks, in the location's colour and style, and flags what's sold out. One menu can serve several locations.

Why build the menu in the system

A PDF or printed menu has to be redone every time a price changes or a dish runs out. In Restoman the menu comes from the same products the whole system uses: change it in one place and it looks the same everywhere.

  1. 01 One product, on every menu Each product is added once. Change its price and it changes on every menu and category it appears in.
  2. 02 One menu for several locations Two locations can show the same menu, or each its own. Sold-out items still belong to each location.
  3. 03 No paper to reprint Prices, photos and new dishes show on the guest's phone as soon as you save them.

02

How you put it together

From Menu in the dashboard you set up your menus, their categories in the order guests see them, and the products in each. Option groups and photos are added to each product.

  1. 01 Categories in order "New category", then order them with the arrows. Each one can have a description that shows under its name.
  2. 02 Products with a photo Name, description, price, "Allow notes" and "Featured". The photo goes up as a JPG, PNG or WebP and shows on the menu.
  3. 03 Option groups How the meat is cooked, the side or the sauces: a group is created once, with its rule and what each option adds, and any product can offer it.
  4. 04 Dietary marks Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Lactose-free and Spicy show on every dish that has them.

03

What guests see

Guests open the location's menu on their phone, with its name, cover photo and hours at the top. They browse the categories, search for a dish and add it to their order with its options.

  1. 01 With your location's look Under Settings, Identity, you pick the logo, the cover photo, the brand colour and the menu style: corners, dishes, and light or dark mode.
  2. 02 Search the menu Guests find a dish by its name, its description or its options, even with a typo.
  3. 03 Sold out, in plain sight A sold-out dish shows dimmed with when it's back, and can't be added to an order.
  4. 04 Open or closed The top says until when the location is open, or when it opens again if it's closed.
