Restoman with ChatGPT
Today ChatGPT can read Restoman's Guide and tell you how to do anything in it. Once Restoman's MCP server ships, it will be able to answer about your own restaurant.
01
What you can do with ChatGPT today
Restoman's Guide is written for people and assistants alike: every guide has a markdown version, and the whole Guide answers over MCP. Neither needs your account.
02
How to connect the Guide to ChatGPT
Connecting a remote MCP server to ChatGPT depends on your plan and mode, and its settings change often. If your account allows it, the Guide connects like any other.
03
What's next: your restaurant in ChatGPT (coming soon)
Restoman's MCP server will work with any assistant that connects to remote MCP servers, ChatGPT included. It isn't available yet.
Frequently asked questions
Not yet. That comes with Restoman's MCP server. Today ChatGPT can read the Guide, which explains how every part of Restoman works.
https://docs.restoman.com.ar/mcp. It's a remote MCP server, open and read-only, with two tools: search_docs and get_doc.
Give it the address of the guide you need, or its markdown version (the same address ending in .md), and ask about it.
No. The Guide only holds Restoman's guides: it can't see any business or change anything.
Restoman's MCP server is one server, for any compatible assistant. ChatGPT will use it the same way Claude does.
