Restoman for cafés

At a café everything moves fast: the morning line, the large almond-milk latte, the regular who grabs one on the way. Restoman gives it orders that arrive paid, with what the guest picked and when they'll come for it.

Short answer

At a café, Restoman lets guests order and pay with Mercado Pago from their phone, picking the size, the milk and the extras, for pickup as soon as possible or at a time they choose. The order reaches the counter paid, with its ticket, and the guest gets a notice when it's ready.

What a café needs

Small orders, lots of them, back to back, nearly all with some variation. What matters is that each one comes out right and fast, without the line to order and pay holding everything up.

  1. 01 Variations without mistakes Size, kind of milk, an extra shot: every order has to arrive with what the guest picked, in writing.
  2. 02 Ordering without a line Someone in a hurry wants to order before they arrive and grab it on the way.
  3. 03 Knowing when they'll come The order should be ready when the guest walks in, not well before or long after.

How a café uses Restoman

Guests open the menu from their phone or a QR code, build their order with each product's options and pay with Mercado Pago. The order reaches the counter paid.

  1. 01 Options on every product Option groups let you set up a required "Size", plus "Milk" or "Extras", each with what it adds to the price. You create them once and any product can use them.
  2. 02 As soon as possible, or at a time Guests choose "As soon as possible" or schedule a time today. You decide how long it takes ("Ready in") and how often pickup times are offered.
  3. 03 Ready notices and "I'm here" When you mark it "Ready", the guest gets a notice. When they arrive they tap "I'm here", and their order moves to the top of "Ready for pickup".
  4. 04 Promo codes A code for a percentage or a fixed amount, with dates, a minimum order or a usage limit, that guests enter when they pay.

What usually goes wrong without a system

During the morning rush, small mistakes pile up: the wrong milk, an order nobody picks up, a line that doesn't move.

  1. 01 An order taken wrong The options and the note arrive written on the ticket, exactly as the guest picked them.
  2. 02 Orders nobody picks up Every order arrives paid before it's made, so nothing already prepared goes to waste unpaid.
  3. 03 A jammed bar at peak time "Pause orders" stops new orders for a while, and the ones already in keep going.
  4. 04 Offering what ran out If the oat milk runs out, you mark it sold out and it stops being offered on every product.

04

When it makes sense

It helps most at cafés with lots of takeaway and guests who come back: the ones who stop by every day at the same time.

  1. 01 Grab-and-go cafés Near offices, campuses or stations, where guests order before they get there.
  2. 02 Morning rushes When the line to order and pay is what slows things down most.
  3. 03 Regulars From Your orders, guests repeat an earlier order with one tap.
