An up-to-date menu on every guest's phone, takeaway orders paid before they're cooked, tickets that print themselves and the night's numbers without spreadsheets. One system for the menu, the counter, the kitchen and your team.

**Short answer:** In a restaurant, Restoman runs the digital menu with a QR code per table, takeaway orders guests place and pay for with Mercado Pago from their phone, the counter that receives every order and prints its ticket, sold-out items, opening hours, your team with its roles and shifts, and the sales summary. Ordering to the table and the waiter's iPad come later: today, guests who order from a table pick up at the counter.

## 01. What a restaurant needs

A restaurant depends on the menu, the kitchen and the floor telling the same story at every moment. When one of them falls behind, the guest is the one who notices.

- **An up-to-date menu.** With current photos, options and prices, and whatever ran out marked the moment it does.
- **Clear orders for the kitchen.** Every dish with its options and its note, on a ticket that prints itself.
- **A team with clear roles.** Everyone with their role, at the locations where they work, and a weekly shift schedule.
- **Numbers without spreadsheets.** Sales, orders, average ticket and kitchen time, by day and by location.

## 02. How Restoman fits your service

From the menu to closing time, each part of the shift has its own screen. They all read the same data, so a change shows up everywhere at once.

- **Before you open.** The menu, the location's hours and closures. Outside opening hours, the menu says when you open and takes no orders.
- **During service.** Every paid order reaches the counter with a sound, and its ticket prints itself. "Ready" lets the guest know.
- **From the kitchen.** On the kitchen iPad, "Sell out a dish" takes it off the menu in two taps, until tomorrow or until you bring it back.
- **At closing.** The sales summary shows how the day went, and "Export" downloads the orders as a spreadsheet.

## 03. What usually goes wrong without a system

Without a system, everything lives somewhere different: the menu in a PDF, orders on paper, the till in a notebook. What gets lost in between is time and money.

- **An outdated menu.** Guests order what ran out an hour ago, or see an old price.
- **Orders that never reach the kitchen.** A ticket that didn't print stays flagged "Not printed" at the counter until it comes out.
- **Payments that don't add up.** With every Mercado Pago payment tied to its order, there's no till to rebuild at the end of the night.
- **Not knowing who did what.** The business's activity log keeps every change with who made it and when.

## 04. When it makes sense, and what's next

Today Restoman mostly serves restaurants that sell takeaway or want their menu on every table's phone. What's missing for the dining room is on the way.

- **If you sell takeaway.** Guests order and pay from their phone, pick as soon as possible or a set time, and come by when it's ready.
- **If you have a dining room.** Every table has its QR code, which opens the location's menu. Today, guests order there and pick up at the counter.
- **Coming soon: ordering to the table.** Orders placed from a table brought to the table, with the waiter's iPad and the register.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can guests order from their table?

They scan their table's QR code, see the menu and can order and pay from their phone, but they pick up at the counter. Bringing the order to the table, with the waiter's iPad, comes later.

### How do guests pay?

With Mercado Pago, when they place the order. The money goes straight to your business's account, and the kitchen gets the order only once the payment is approved.

### What equipment do I need?

For the counter, a computer with Chrome and an 80 mm thermal printer for the tickets. The kitchen screen runs on an iPad, and the menu on each guest's phone.

### Can I have several locations?

Yes. Each location has its own hours, tables, sold-out items and counter, and they can share one menu or each have their own.

### What does each person on the team see?

What their role needs: the kitchen sells out dishes, the cashier sees orders, the manager plans their location's shifts. The numbers are for the owner, admins, the accountant and each location's manager.
