A bar works at night, with a packed counter and a menu that changes with what's left. Restoman gives it a QR menu, orders that arrive paid, and a working day that doesn't stop at midnight.

**Short answer:** At a bar, Restoman puts the menu behind a QR code at the bar and on every table, takes payment for orders with Mercado Pago from the guest's phone, and sends them to the counter already paid, for pickup at the bar. Hours can close past midnight, and what's sold after 12:00 AM counts toward the night it opened.

## 01. What a bar needs

The bar is the bottleneck: the same people pour, take money and answer what's available. And the night doesn't end at midnight, so hours and numbers have to understand that.

- **A menu guests can check on their own.** They open it from the QR code and see the drinks, the food, the photos and what's out tonight, without waiting for someone.
- **Getting paid without slowing the bar.** When the order arrives paid, the bar makes and hands over drinks instead of taking money.
- **Nights that run past midnight.** Open 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM is one night, not two half days.

## 02. How a bar uses Restoman

The QR code at the bar or on a table opens the location's menu. Today orders are for pickup: guests order and pay from their phone and collect at the bar when it's ready. Ordering to be served at the table isn't available yet.

- **A QR code per table, and at the bar.** Tables and QR gives each table its own code to print. Once scanned, the menu says "Order here, pick it up at the counter".
- **Paid orders at the counter.** Once the payment is approved, the order shows up at the counter with its number, a chime plays and its ticket prints.
- **Late-night hours.** You enter 7:00 PM to 12:30 AM as is, and it counts toward the day it opens. Holidays go in as closures.
- **Sales in their own night.** Numbers and order history count the day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM: a 1:00 AM order counts toward the night before.

## 03. What usually goes wrong without a system

At a packed bar, the same things tend to break: information that doesn't arrive in time, and payments piling up for the end.

- **Ordering something that's gone.** With Sold out, whatever ran out leaves the menu right away and comes back on its own the next day, or when you reactivate it.
- **The line to pay.** Every order arrives paid with Mercado Pago, so there's no tab to chase and no till to balance at closing.
- **Tickets that get lost.** If a ticket doesn't come out of the printer, the order stays "Not printed" until someone reprints it.
- **A swamped bar.** "Pause orders" stops new orders for 15, 30 or 60 minutes without hiding the menu.

## 04. When it makes sense

Restoman helps most at bars where people order and pick up at the bar, and where the night runs long.

- **Busy bars.** Guests order from where they are and come up only when their order is ready.
- **Bars open late.** Hours, sold-outs and numbers that understand the night goes on after midnight.
- **Bars with a kitchen.** The ticket reaches the kitchen with its options and notes, and the counter sees what's ready.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can guests order from their table and have it brought over?

Not yet. Today the table's QR code opens the menu and guests order and pay from their phone, but they pick up at the bar or counter. Ordering to the table is planned for later.

### How do I enter hours that close at 3 AM?

Enter them as they are, for example 10:00 PM to 3:00 AM. That range counts toward the day it opens, and the menu shows "Open until 3:00 AM" all night.

### Which day do sales after midnight count toward?

The night the location opened. The summary and the order history count each day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM, in the location's time.

### How do I take a drink that ran out off the menu?

In Sold out, or from the kitchen screen, mark it sold out until tomorrow or until you reactivate it. It leaves the menu right away.

### Do I need a printer?

It's not required: orders show up at the counter. With a printer connected to the counter's computer, tickets print on their own.
